Simon’s Website Version 3.0 is live!
Sorry it took so long, but it’s here at last, my new website is alive and kicking and a bit buggy but I will sort those out. I hope you like it! So apart from this what have I been up to? Suffering from colds and falling out of college and eating fish fingers and not driving and just sitting around, gardening, waiting for something to happen. So I joined a vision2learn course and my mum goes into Hospital with Pneumonia. My enrolment is under way and hopefully I will hear from someone and get started soon. As for my driving lessons… who knows? I’ve also been on a hunt for Pear Drops and Sherbert Lemons n Toffee Bon Bons. And where does my search end? FrenchayHospital WRVS Shop!
Oh well, they had to be somewhere I guess.
I also have been partying with Miss Hueber LLB at the Sports Café in Bristol. I had a fun night then we went to Imbargo which is a student club. I had a good time and I got picked up by someone close to me. And I gotta do it all again this coming weekend because it’s My Sista’s 21st!

Things to make and do
Not a lot been going on, just managed to miss an appointment I made a while ago and am hungry too (will sort that one soon). I’ve been going around checking out that everything is working right on the site and ironing out any bugs so it should be working ok by now I would have thought. I’ve also been making background for MSN Messenger and have also been using the new Windows Live Messenger which is looking better than the previous one. You can download the backgrounds for yourself too. Just click on the thumbnail, right click on the picture that appears, choose “save as” (or equivalent), open MSN Messenger/Windows Live Messenger BETA, with a conversation window open, click on Backgrounds, click on “more…” under ‘My Backgrounds’, click on browse, locate the file you saved and choose open, then just use that picture as your background. To Microsoft, this is simple. To you, probably not.

My P.O.V: Big Brother
Yep, it’s that time again where more mad fools expose themselves on TV and willingly expose themselves to more extreme conditions just to get on some porn channel or launch a career. Or is it genuine entertainment where a bunch of complete strangers battle it out and bitch, have sex, get drunk and it’s thoroughly enjoyed? Or is it as Davina says a “social experiment”?
I had actually considered doing an audition for this but I don’t feel that would be such a good idea as we all know, everlasting careers are never made. People’s opinions change and the winner of Big Brother 6 is now struggling himself just as predicted. When Nadia won everyone said it’s because she’s fabulous and amazing when in actual fact, she won because she is transgender and everyone wanted to prove there tolerance towards this fact.
If you want to make a career for yourself, the most optimal path would be to get qualified, get work experience and sell yourself and climb the ladder. Appearing on a reality TV show never really works. And even Dermot O’Leary even said this. He said that people go on Big Brother, make a bit of cash and then fame evaporates.
I have also heard that a test run of housemates broke into a fight and security had to be brought in. This was thought to be have caused by the house design and Endemol seem somewhat proud of this. So how is this entertaining?
What ever happened to my favourite game shows on a Saturday night when I was younger like all clued up, bulls eye, the generation game, play your cards right and catchphrase? I know there all on sky TV now but that’s how I remember good TV to be and I actually looked forward to these. I hope that reality TV stars don’t get hit too harsh by reality.

Drops
Ok, I’ve been watching Big Brother and am enjoying it so far. Has an interesting bunch of housemates. My health hasn’t been that great and my eyes have been opened to Ayumi Hamasaki and I’m not so sure I like her as much anymore as she seems to be a bit fake at times and difficult to understand. As for my health, I have another ear infection and conjunctivitis. I also have thrush on my tongue which suggests my immune system is run down, which is no surprise to me as things haven’t been running that smooth generally for me.
I’ve also been looking back on my time at Scout Enterprises and I don’t think admin/office work is for me. My time there was quite difficult at times as I often found myself feeling insecure not knowing what I’m doing exactly and given quite a lot of tasks all at once. I was never really comfortable there and would be happy to remain as a student until I find something that I am comfortable with and I am sure I would find that working within IT Engineering that I would probably be able to handle it more. So I think that’s what I will have to aim myself at. I don’t think I gained much from Scout Enterprises with exception to college. I certainly didn’t feel valued there!
